Jean-Robert "JR" Latortue

Jean-Robert or "J.R.", Latortue believes that his multifaceted background and his ability to connect with people from all cultures and walks of life without judgement as his greatest virtues. A native New Yorker he began working in sales and even worked a few years as a New York City club promoter working the New York nightlife before turning his attention towards the corporate corridors of Wall Street. After passing the Series 7 Stockbroker exam at the tender age of nineteen Jean-Robert would work on Wall Street, he would eventually work as an executive at one of the oldest privately held investment banks on Park Avenue. During his tenure his clientele consisted of international legal executives based throughout Europe, South Africa, Asia and the Middle East. He would provide market insights, securities-based lending and equity clearing services. Later he would work at Morgan Stanley as a registered investment advisor before turning his focus towards real estate.

Jean-Robert “J.R.” Latortue received his bachelor’s degree from Temple University in Philadelphia. He holds a Project Management Certificate in Technology from New York University. Jean-Robert is an alumni of New York City’s Lyceum Kennedy a Francophone school in New York City and St Dominic High School in Oyster Bay. He is fluent in English, French and Kreyol. He is also conversational in Spanish. Jean-Robert has personally been on both sides of the negotiating table having both purchased, renovated and exited out of homes as a real estate investor therefore he is sympathetic and serves as a strong advocate to those seeking to get a deal done, and also receive the highest price point for their home.
